Oh life drawing how I missed you!

Its been a while for me, but was really nice getting back into doing some life drawing. There is a nice studio in Toronto that offers it and am totally down for going back! I arrived half an hour late but here is what I got done for the session!

Mare Zombie World

A new piece, this one is a zombie planet from the series "The league of Elder" By Ren Garcia. I enjoy doing space art there is just something so calming about planets and nebulas!

This is a Dryad character I made some time ago. Did some inks and colors on it. Yay photoshop! :D

New landscape sci-fi piece

So this is my take on some sci-fi. It is inspired by the work of landscape painter Thomas Moran. Been doing some studies of landscape painting and then this one kinda just happened...A sign to me to do more studies! I added the sci-fi look with the city in the distance and the space ship to make it resemble a dream I had earlier in the week where I was on a flying machine, flying over a beautiful beach...I miss Cuba!

 I was inspired by the beauty of aquatic animals and thous this painting of jellyfish...

These three were for a project for background painting I was doing of forest studies in different styles.

Cathedral

Another environment piece. This one is called St.Vith Cathedral  from Ren Garcia's "The league of Elder" series. Done in photoshop this one took me a bit to do, but had a lot of fun designing the environment and playing around with the texture brushes!
