So this is a little different from what I usually post. But today I wanted to share the work of someone who has really inspired me, and an upcoming event she will be hosting in Toronto that I am honored to be helping out with!

Teal Swan is an amazing spiritual teacher who will be in Toronto  On September 25th for a workshop and documentary screening on the 24th. Harley Quinn fan art done!

Ok last new piece for this years Fan Expo! Harley Quin painting done in gouche and watercolor, on water color paper. I tried to make this one be as raw and messy as can to kinda go with her personality, while simultaneously tightened up in other areas like the face and collar. To get into the mood for this one I was listening to "You don't own me" by Lesley Gore Enjoy :)

New Zbrush creature design model

Been really getting into Zbrush. I created a new creature design based on some concepts I drew a few years back. This is an ancient tribal species based on axolotls and dinosaurs. Had a lot of fun with it :)

Universe frog

The 3rd piece of my universe themed collection!

I've always loved frogs and this is an idea I've been wanting too illustrate for a while now. One of the cultural meanings for the frog is transcendence and metamorphosis. this has resonated deeply for me and I feel it is a major theme in my life. I like to think of the frog as my spirit animal, so this piece is another personal piece for me.

A bit about the process:
This one is actually a little different from my other two since it is not done in watercolor. It's actually a digital painting I did on top of my older acrylic painting of one of my pet "Whites Tree Frogs" the painting was done from a photograph I took for a photography class, back in 2009.

Window to the universe

Another water color universe themed piece. It didn't turn out exactly how I imagined it in my mind, but  I enjoyed the process.

Higher Self

A painting idea I got while meditating. Opening of the heart chakra and deep realization of self and connection with the universe. Probably the most deep and spiritual painting I've ever done. Gonna continue on this path :)  This is the most personal painting I have ever done so despite being scared to post it I will be brave and go with it either way!
